Drawing upon his background as an entrepreneur and former General Counsel, Andrew often serves as an outside general counsel providing clients with practical, actionable advice.
Possessing decades of IP experience, Andrew and the team have handled thousands of patent applications and dozens of transactions in jurisdictions around the world.
He represents clients across a wide range of industries and innovation-related spaces – from formation and venture financing to acquisition and exit.
Andrew also regularly advises clients on, and litigates, eight- and nine-figure bet-the-company disputes.
Andrew’s deep technology and intellectual property background allows him to provide comprehensive counsel on patent, trademark, and copyright matters. He prepares and prosecutes patent and trademark applications, and regularly engages in inter partes proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Offering expert opinions on patentability, freedom-to-practice, infringement, and validity, Andrew is renowned for his ability to enforce and defend trademark rights, unfair competition claims, and false advertising disputes.
