Isaac Diskind is an experienced litigation attorney with a focus on real estate and commercial litigation. Isaac’s litigation experience has included commercial litigation, real estate litigation, intellectual property prosecution, white collar defense, and internal corporate investigations. This experience includes working as part of a small team representing a special committee of the board of directors of a Fortune 500 company undertaking an internal investigation in response to a shareholder demand letter, quashing a subpoena by successfully invoking a client’s act-of-production privilege under the Fifth Amendment, procuring the dismissal of breach of fiduciary duty and related claims between partners in an LLC, and successfully foreclosing on millions of dollars’ worth of commercial mortgages on behalf of his clients.

In addition to his trial court work, Isaac also represents clients in appeals where he has procured appellate decisions affirming positive trial court decisions and reversing a negative one. Although the bulk of his practice takes place in State and Federal court, Isaac has also been involved in pre-litigation settlements, mediation, and arbitration.

Isaac’s litigation experience includes the following:

• Part of a team of eight attorneys undertaking an internal investigation of a Fortune 500 company in response to a shareholder demand letter.
• Represented, on numerous occasions, hard money lender client in foreclosing on properties upon loan defaults.
• Represented numerous clients as purchasers of distressed mortgage notes in foreclosing on mortgaged properties.
• Represented 33% partner of a partnership against claims of, inter alia, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and fraudulent conveyances and secured dismissal of the complaint after filing a motion to reargue our underlying motion to dismiss.
