Rachel Friedman is a passionate attorney who specializes in special education law. Rachel’s experience includes representing families of students with disabilities in administrative proceedings under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and New York State Education Laws and Regulations. Rachel’s interest in the field of special education law stems from her own experiences with the special education system as a child as well as her experiences working with special needs students during a teaching fellowship. She is a member of Bochner PLLC’s Special Education Group.

While at Brooklyn Law School, Rachel took part in the school’s Disability and Civil Rights Clinic and was a recipient of the Prince Scholarship. As a law student, Rachel also interned at a private New York City special education law firm that represents families and students at impartial hearings. She continued to work with that firm as an attorney prior to joining Bochner, PLLC.
