David Kahane is an attorney who focuses on special education law. David has extensive experience representing hundreds of students with disabilities under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and New York State Education Laws and Regulations, as well as appealing decisions with the State Review Office of New York. David provides thorough training and advice to lawyers practicing special education law and works closely with clients to ensure they are sufficiently prepared for administrative proceedings.

David’s interest in special education law stems from his work with the New York Legal Assistance Group while in law school. Following graduation, David worked at a firm litigating numerous cases with the New York City Department of Education. David is excited to continue representing students with disabilities at Bochner PLLC.
